The Czechs pulled one back with three minutes left when Vaclav Sverkos set up fellow substitute Martin Fenin.

The future of France coach Raymond Domenech was left hanging in the balance on Saturday after a spirited Romania took a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw with the 1998 World Cup winners. Florentin Petre and Dorin Goian scored a goal apiece in a dominant first half to leave the hosts with the advantage after Franck Ribery had managed to claw a goal back for 'Les Bleus' in the 36th minute. Spain cruised to a 3-0 win over Estonia to maintain their 100 percent record after three matches in the World Cup qualifying Group 5. Spain coach Vicente del Bosque was finally able to field his two first-choice strikers, David Villa and Fernando Torres, after the Liverpool player returned from injury. The pair kept Estonian keeper Pavel Londak kept busy throughout much of the match but it was Real Betis defender Juanito who scored first, connecting with a free kick from Barcelona's Xavi Hernandez in the 34th minute.
