Midfielder Cosmin Contra put Getafe ahead with a virtuoso solo goal just before halftime, but just as the home fans were celebrating a memorable upset Bayern midfielder Franck Ribery equalised in the 88th minute.

He had already served the first match of the suspension imposed on April 3 in addition to a one match ban for the sending-off.

  • Pompey win Cup colours toss

    04/11/08 08:05

Portsmouth won Thursday's toss for colours, dressings rooms and choice of end at Wembley for the FA Cup final against Championship side Cardiff on May 17. Portsmouth will appear in their traditional blue, as in the semi-final against West Brom, for their first Wembley final in 69 years while Cardiff, nicknamed the Bluebirds, will be in the same mainly black strip they wore against Barnsley on Sunday. Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie called correctly when the toss took place at the Football Association's headquarters here and his club have also been allocated the same east end of Wembley their fans occupied for the semi-final.
